The historical auxiliary sciences are the "toolbox" in the hands of the historian on his travels through time. It contains ten major and several minor historical disciplines that were born alongside modern historical science and form a set of methods and skills necessary for working with historical sources.
Summer school has two levels.
Level description:
Level 3 includes workshops in english opened to more advanced students and graduates in historical sciences.
Level 2 A/B includes workshops in czech opened to more advanced students and graduates in historical sciences (A: mediaeval; B: early modern period).
Level 1 includes workshops in czech concerning basic auxiliary historical sciences. It is intended for university students of history as well as other disciplines who want to learn more about the auxiliary historical sciences.
New is the thematic block "How a lie becomes truth" about forgery, misinformation and propaganda in history.
Registration fee:
basic participant fee 2.600 CZK
price for students 2.200 CZK
The registration fee does not include the costs for meal and accomodation. Those are to be arranged by the participants themselves.
