Regesta Imperii
branch office Brno

Petr Elbel

“We have been making Sigismund of Luxemburg's charters available in Brno since 2011. The feeling from discovering new sources is unique, because I'm still finding a number of Sigismund's charters, for instance in the transcripts from the 16th and 17th centuries, which evidently no-one has touched since then. On some occasions these are charters which can change the interpretation of Sigismund's rule in an interesting way.”
